This High-Performance 4-Stage Shower Filter Cartridge contains KDF/CAG Media. KDF (copper and zinc) is the media of choice in better quality shower filters. Depending on water temperature and flow variables, it helps reduce up to 99% of chlorine from your shower water, as well as its vapors that you breath while showering Stage 1 x 2 - IN-FLOW FILTER for removal of fine particles from water

• Stage 2 x 2 - KDF Filter for removal of chlorine and its vapors, chemicals and heavy metals. 
• Stage 3 x 2 - GAC Filter for removal of chlorine, organic chemicals and pesticides, eliminates odor. 
• Stage 4 x 2 - OUT-FLOW FILTER to eliminate any remaining carbon for fresh, pure water

For best performance, disposable shower filter cartridge should be changed every 6 to 9 months for an average household of four, or after 10,000 gallons of water usage. Best Performance Water Temperature: 36° F to 113° F
